16" 7.62 X 39 -  Scout profile(.700/.700) M4 ramps, 10 twist nitro-carburized(Melonite) with mid length gas system and 9310 bolt, threaded 5/8-24 to allow use of 308 flash or brake. The mid gas system allows the case to contract more than a carbine system after firing making extraction easier which extends the life of the extractor. The bolts are machined to fire the steel case ammo without the use of a special expensive firing pin, these bolts are designed to work with mil spec 5.56 firing pins.

We recommend Winchester or Tula ammo, Remington is apx 100fps slower and MFS2000 has shown to be underpowered and can cause short stroking.
